Michel Chabanel is CEO of Céréa Partenaire from 2011 and has also been the AFIC’s Chairman from 2014 to 2016. Michel has been involved in a large number of transactions including Tractel, Fraikin, France Agricole, Elis, BeghinSay, La Croissanterie, Labeyrie Fine foods and BCF life Science.
Michel joined Céréa Partenaire in 2011 from Pragma Capital, a French midcap buy-out fund where he spent 8 years as Managing Partner. Previous positions include 3 years at The Royal Bank of Scotland as Managing Director in charge of Leveraged Finance in Paris and twelve years with Crédit Agricole Indosuez in charge of European Acquisition Finance and buyout co-investment portfolio.
Michel has an MS in Finance from ESCP Europe and is a graduate of the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech.
